I know there are a number of extra cost options which can be retrofitted. Some examples are heated seats, orthopedic seats, etc. I'm not sure if Parktronic is one. A dealer would know for sure. Be sure to be sitting down when the price quote comes.

I think most are beyond the DIYer as you must tie into the electronics and code the option to the car's ECU.

As others have suggested in the past, most of these 'projects' are better accomplished by selling your car and buying one with the option installed. And that will be cheaper too.

Wasn't parktronic only available on wagons? I have never seen a sedan with it.

It shows as an extra cost option in both the wagon and sedan Owners Manuals beginning in 1998.

Is possible install the OEM parktronic in the W210's

BigBoss: Is available in the 2 models. Euro, Us, State, Sedan, Pre-updated & Post-updated cars

My car is sedan 99' & has them factory installed, but really the conversion cost is too expensive, i try to put the system in our W124 500E & the cost are astronomical. i get all the part# by my car to ask the dealer for costs & ............ DEALER NOOOOO

You need to know you need the dash wood trim fillers (cause the displays, center wood console (cause the switch) all wires, switch, module, 10 sensors, new bumper stripe (front & rear) & front/rear displays all costs when i ask round 2800K - 3000K

The best option you can get is bought all the system by a wrecked car (sensors, woods, dysplays, wires, etc) & put in yours or buy some bosch parkpilot universal system

But all is possible

Seems like it would be easier (and a lot cheaper) to practice parallel parking.

SteveML is probably the guy to contact for retrofit.

Bear in mind you need new bumpers (front and rear, with sensors), paint, electronics, wiring, coding, etc. You're looking at several thousand just for the body parts and paint, not even including the installation or electronics.
