There are DIY's for plugs at both peachparts and benzworld.
The Bosch site lists appropriate plugs since the ones listed in the OM have probably been replaced. Some claim to use single electrode plugs (either Bosch or NGK). I've had no problems with the dual electrode platinum Bosch. YMMV
Special 17mm Hazet valve adj wrench (110.589.01.01) makes pulling the boots off and on very easy. Otherwise wires can get damaged. Note: "A" plug wire to front plug and "B" to back. It's marked on coils. No anti-seize compound as modern plugs have special coating.
Torque: Plugs are 28Nm (5/8" or 16mm) and coil mounting bolts (T30) are 8Nm. Tight quarters so it's slow going but it's only once every 100K.
