Who's removed secondary cats?

Hi everyone. I want to remove secondary cats and resinator. Does anyone know if it will trigger cel? I plan on replacing them will x-pipe and also be replacing muffler with a borla muffler.

Thanks, Steve

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
No CEL issues

H-pipe will sound better and offer a few ft lb torque.
Going to be louder with the borla, you might consider just the h pipe and cat delete first and see if that is a nice throaty rumble.

Thank you Ohlord

I will do an H-pipe if you say more torqe. I don't use the car on any long drives so I won't mind it being loud. I will post pics and sound when done.

Exuast is done!

Finished my exaust a few weeks ago. Just been busy with work so I haven't had time to take pics. I ended up leavin the cats for now. Didn't do an x or h pipe cause my exuast isn't dual after the resinator. I have a y-pipe in place of the resinator and the borla spitfire muffler. Heres a sound clip for you guys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0Rn6901oy8 Sorry about the the view next time I'll have somone hold the camera

2jzGTE Powered W210, 93 500E and swerv in a burb
That does sound nice

oh you can remove the cats, there shouldnt be any o2's behind your rear cat only the first set

if you really want some power put a 96 e320 diff in there, the gear ratio's perfect for the v8

Instead of getting rid of the secondary cats. Replace them with high flow cats like the w210 E55 guys have done. Many have reported power.

Yes, but its cheaper to just remove them. Also the E55 guys have reported more power without them. And this car is on a buget build. $5000 maybe a little more. I'm at $4400 now including the cost of the car, and I still need minor body work done. So between the cats and the body work I should be right at my limit
