Check Engine Light
I also have two "check engine" warnings on my display. One is the amber light on the lower right display, the other in the center - says " check engine & engine electronics". I have not driven my car for several months. Now that I started to drive it again, it started fine and initially drove fine, then after 30 minutes I was at a red light and the car started slightly shaking while idling only (and the check engine light came on but not the center light with the engine electronics), acceleration and driving are fine. Ten minutes later, I reached my destination and turned the car off. When I turned the car back on, the center engine electronics light came on and the right side check engine light is still on but the car was running fine again without any problems during idling. So now the car is running good but how do I get the 2 check engine lights off. Thanks.

Begin by checking (or have checked) the OBD . If you buy a OBD II scanner to DIY, you can post the error codes out here for help. Generally, it requires a little interpretation.
A scanner can clear the check engine light but if the problem still exists it will just come back on. Better to sort out the problem and fix it.

Start
with the simple stuff.
If you just filled the tank after not using the car make sure the gas cap is on properly.
take it off put it back click it shut
all with the engine off![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
If it was sitting for a long period make sure you charge the battery.
If that don't clear the codes![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Do as above and get the codes and post em here![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
some autozones and the like scan for free
if the remedies above don't clear them and nobody around does it free get a scanner at harborfreight like item 94169
easy to use and worth its weight in gold if it avoids even one trip to a shop

I once drove my company Toyota with a CEL light on to the shop, and told the guy at the counter: "My car says Check Engine, so I did and the Engine is still in there so that can't be the problem!"
Good luck with the codes though...
