E320 ML320
Please Help
So I currently have a E320 Mercedes. When ever I start the car up it runs fine for about 30 seconds and then gets really rough. So I took my car into the shop for then to run test. According to the mechanic the Driver side of the engine isn't running. All three fuel injectors aren't working at the same time. He has two options on fixing them. Tearing the it apart to check to see if the wires have came undone and are shorting out if they are touching. The other option is he thinks the computer has gone bad in the car. He suggest to buy a used computer and replace. Any suggestions on what else it could be? Which option is more likely? If a computer is required does anyone else know where to find one at a good price?

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Go to a different shop
and have it checked.
From your symptoms the car is beginning to fire up the cat converter on the bank that is not working. When it heats it is plugged up and the engine chokes.
Any good shop should easily pull the pre cat o2 sensor and let the exhaust vent to open air,if the engine does not choke out you have found the problem.
You can't just get a new ecu(computer) it is mated to the DAS and the transmission control unit. Go to a better shop this guy is guessing
