Please Help with 18' staggered rims

Hello to everyone who reads this post. I have a 2002 e430 that currently have 17's (factory rims that came with car) and just purchased 18' staggered factory benz rims from a 2008 e350 from a private seller at a very good price. I've had the car for a little over two years and I just wanted to upgrade the look. I am thinking about using 245/40/18 on all four rims. I do not really want to lower the car. I have a few questions..........

1. Will they fit my car as is?
1. Will the ride still be smooth?
1. Will there be any scrubing?
1. Can I run the same size tire all the way around eventhough the rims are staggered?

Here is a picture of the rims I purchased.

Any help will be much appreciated!

1. they should fit no problem , you might need new lug nuts but possibly stock ones should work .
2. shouldnt notice that much differnce in ride unless these wheels are alot heavier or they have a bend or are out of balance .
3. you might get scrubbing if the offsets or way off and these stick out to far rubbing into the wheel well < ppl alot of times get the fenders rolled out >
4. I have yet to come across anyone running same size all way round on a staggered fitment . for example im running 245/40 18 on the front and 275/35 18 on the rear but my wheels are 8.5 inch fronts and 9.5 inch rears on my 01' E55 .. seeing those are factory wheels you should see what size they are and what offsets they are first before doing anything else . also find out what size tires where on it previously and maybe do a search and see what people are running currently with same staggered fitment .

the bolt on your car are 12mm with 12mm radius ball seat. the new rims
use a larger diameter bolt @ 14mm as well as 14mm radius ball seat. you
should not use your current bolts with new rims, but should buy hybrid bolts
which are 12mm x r14 ball seat. unable to determine the bolt length needed.

measure the cross section of your new rims, from ball seat, through the hole,
and to the face of the wheel hub. add .75" this should be your new bolt
length.

look for stamping on inside of the spoke of new rim to determine offset. that
will give you an idea how well the rim will coexist with your car, which should
be 35-40mm ET.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
With stock offsets

2008 E series of et39 you will likely have issues running 245's up front. You might need spacers to move the rim outwards and reduce the et to 31 front. A 235 would be better suited.
245's no problem on the rear but you will have more squat since the wider rim will change the shape of the sidewall. Whether or not that affects the abs and the cruise control only a test drive will prove out.

has the proper lugs if you don't need the hubcentric spacer up front.
don't try them with your old lugs won't work.
might I suggest next time ask first before purchasing something you are not sure will fit or have issues.A good deal is only a good deal if it works.
Why not stagger as the rims are intended?

All other questions can best be summed up in this old ditty.

I just completed fitting these to my car. You are going to need 12mm bolts with r14 heads. A 10mm spacer is required up front to clear the steering knuckle. Ur going to need 25mm bolts in the rear if u dont use spacers and 35mm bolts up front with the 10mm spacers.

I personally used 10mm spacers all around w/ 35mm bolts. U have to run the same overall diameter of tire. I'm running a 225/40r18 up front and a 245/40r18 in the rear. The 245/40r18 has an overall diameter of 25.7 and the 225/40 has an overall diameter of 25. Doesn't give me an esp light but above 55mph my cruise control no longer works. I'm going to switch to a 255/35r18 in the rear which iirc has a diamter ot 25.1.

Here are the pix, lowered on an eibach kit.

I did all the hard work for u lol. Luckily i work at a dealership and had time to play around with extra tires and bolts. Took about a month of playing and ordering parts to get it to work but if ur intrested i can give u more info on everything u need.

O and im' pretty sure that e350s didn't come with staggered wheels. I know mine are 18x8.5 all around. Look on the inside of the wheel and it'll tell u.
