engine codes..
How do I clear the engine codes on a 2000 e320? hand held scanner shows codes cleared and then states one code remaining...it won't clear..any ideas?

2000 e320
It is showing cylinder 1 misfire. I changed coil, plugs and wires. The code wont clear even without starting engine. Code reader says code erased and one code remaining.

hi the u might have to open the valve cover and inspect the valves on cylinder one, they might have gone sticky, I had once fixed that issue by steaming the valves but its a very tactical process, u can check for valves steaming on Google that might help.
