Headliner, always a pleasure! (just some pics)

After fixing a leaking sunroof I left the headliner out for weeks just to make absolutely sure it was all ok in the rain, carwash, gardenhose etc. Today I finally got around reinstalling the headliner, what a headache!

I've often wondered how the side curtain airbags were installed. I never knew if they covered both passenger rows, but it looks like they do.

I can't even begin to guess how you got that headliner back in there.

Yes the side curtain airbags have their gas-generators on the C-pillars and run all the way along the sides of the roof onto the top of the A-pillars.

getting ready to take mine into the shop to have the headliner redone next week.... you just made me want to attempt it myself. uh ohhhh

Good work, Lancelot. Was it a new headliner or did you reuse the 11 year old one? I ask because mine didn't last that long. The cloth began sagging in the rear at about the 9 or 10 year point.

It was the original headliner, it has no sagging whatsoever. Just needed a cleanup...
