After fixing a leaking sunroof I left the headliner out for weeks just to make absolutely sure it was all ok in the rain, carwash, gardenhose etc. Today I finally got around reinstalling the headliner, what a headache!

I've often wondered how the side curtain airbags were installed. I never knew if they covered both passenger rows, but it looks like they do.
I can't even begin to guess how you got that headliner back in there.

Yes the side curtain airbags have their gas-generators on the C-pillars and run all the way along the sides of the roof onto the top of the A-pillars.Originally Posted by cbpeck

Good work, Lancelot. Was it a new headliner or did you reuse the 11 year old one? I ask because mine didn't last that long. The cloth began sagging in the rear at about the 9 or 10 year point.

It was the original headliner, it has no sagging whatsoever. Just needed a cleanup...Originally Posted by Hirnbeiss

Hi everybody!
@lancelot: Do you have any other pics of your car without the headliner? Especially the curtain airbag, and the A-pillars fixation. Thank you!
