Trunk lid switch
Hi everyone,
I have 99 model w210 e320 avantgarde. Inside trunk lid release switch is broken. When i ask service to change it they say that switch panel is a whole group that cannot be changed as single switch. But finally i found single switch in parts.com and ordered. Now i'm waiting for it to arrive. Anyone can help me if it is changeable or not.
Thank you

Open the cup holder
reach down and slowly lift up the console wood trim from the back end.
Examine the switch panel the W210 has all the switches mounted on one circuit board and the whole thing needs to be replaced.
If however the trunk switch is separate (to allow the difference between a sedan w the switch and a wagon w/o the switch) then your part will fit.
If the panel is all in one it won't![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)

I took it out and checked but the button is not separte. Then asked my service and they said that its a fixed group attached and should be changed completely.
