Dent removal
When I think of paintless dent removal I think on the product called the Ding King. It has 3 suction cups on a rail and you have to hotglue the one in the center of the dent to pull it out. It just bridges over the dent and pops it back out but sometimes it pulls the metal too far. Then after you have to romove the hotglue as well.

fixed!!! pics!!
Hi All,
She's back! All is good; as per jimmydagreek's warning, I checked for the paint damage from the dent removal, and it's all good! There are going to be more than 10 pics here; it was already getting dark by the time I got home, so I will shoot more tomorrow (if it's nice) and post them after I shoot! Enjoy!!

yup the tranny linkage got knocked off; i don't know why, maybe because I keep my right hand on the shifter, and pushed too hard on impact?
The final bill came to $13243 including tax; it was supposed to be more, but they just refinished by bumper instead of getting a new one, so it saved over $1000......
will post more pics next time..
what does everybody think of the work?

They should have waited a month to detail the parts that were painted. Did they say to bring it back for a second detailing in 30 days. The paint needs to cure without wax on it so it can breath for 30 days. I had my hood repainted because of stone chips and they detailed the rest of the car and had me come back a month later to have them detail the whole thing. I know how it feels to pick your car up and see it look new again. It looks like they did a great job.

thanks!! yup they did tell me to wait 30 days until they can detail the front end, (hood and fenders).. currently there is no wax on any of those panels, so I'm going to stay way from car washes and the such.
they did do a good job, even feeling the seams, you usually can tell that it's been painted, but they wet sanded it so well that it's smooth, just like the factory finish. They even touched up the bolts so you couldn't tell the hood and fenders were removed! kudos to rallye motors

Congratulations!
The car looks great! Now if you can only keep the bugs and rocks off of the front and the door dings away, it would stay this way for a long, long time! lol

nice job, congrats and good luck..a 040 black benz and the LIE (or anywhere in NY area) just dont mix.
i've just been lucky enough to (barely) avoid the SUVs myself
frankly i'm regetting mine a little after this awful winter. even now in this so called spring, the pollen, rock chips and rain 'muck' are just killing it... i cant keep it clean at all. i'm sure its an old story out there..

the body shop that fixed my car after the collision took off the panels when they were repainted and baked them or something like that
