Removing the CD deck
Is there any special MB "keys" or "tools" that I need to remove the CD deck in my 2000 E320? By deck I mean removing that panel that says "CD/Radio/Casette/Fm" and has all the phone capabilities on, I'd like to try putting in a CD deck since the 6 cd player is dead and I don't wanna pay out big $ to get a new one
And another thing, does anybody know how to install a block heater into the car or do I have to take it to a shop to get done? I live in Canada and the city I'm at winters go to -50 Celsius lol
Anything inputs or comments would be great and helpful, thanks guys!

hey man... look here.... https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...head-unit.html ...about halfway down i posted an attachment for the template for the removal key, easy to make your own in a few minutes!
as for hu replacement....i dropped the pioneer deh-6200bt into mine with the stock bose amp/speakers and it's fantastic, with bluetooth to boot!
sorry...no experience with block heater down here in Texas, but know what you mean about the cold up yonder! i used to live in Bemidji and then Toronto a while back.
good luck.
