anyone cut springs in the bay area?

i'm looking for someone who could cut springs in the bay area that won't charge too much. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

o thanks. they were charging me $300 to swap springs though, so i'm not too sure if it would be reasonable

all it takes is a friend with a compressor, an air tool with an abrasive cutoff
wheel, and about 15 mins of work.

but, you should probably spend about 30-60 mins measuring and marking and
double checking your work. i used a laser measuring tool to help determine
and pinpoint the vertical drop of 1" and where on the coil the cut should be.
secure the spring in a large vice and carefully and firmly cut. keep heat
build up to a minimum

hmm now i'm considering not cutting them... does it get bouncy after they're cut?
