"Hello Everyone, New 2002 Owner - Radio Problem"

Hello Everyone,

I just replaced my old beloved 1998 E320 with a new 2002 E320 and the radio turns on when I start the car and I hear multiple two beep signals for around one minute. The radio plays during this time and then it turns off completely and I can't get it to come back on. Do I need a code or something? The manual says that the two beep code is activated when the cassette display is not in the down position, but I'm almost positive that this car doesn't have a cassette player - it has a wire coming out of the radio, but that is all. Any help would be appreciated.

yeah i think if you press the eject button the cassette adaptor will pop out and the beeping will stop.
