Who are you to be walking around acting like the best thing since the invention of tampons? From all your posts I've read on here and benzworld, you seem to want to be the only one to give advice and anyone who stands in your way is wrong. This really p---es me off. I finally find a forum where there is intelligent, caring discourse between people who really love their interest(in this case W210) only to have it f--ked up by some jerk. Ohlord has helped me and many others. Helped us to understand and appreciate our rides with all their eccentricities and wonderful German strangeness. Ohlord really wanted to help people. The "other guy" is a poseur -all hat and no cattle. I checked out his profile and,guess what? He has "no friends".
I suggest that all forum members let "the other guy" know he is unwelcome here. Every time he posts we should respond with ridicule. This is called social ostracism. The e-forum equivalent of being tarred and feathered and ridden out of town on a rail.
To you, Ohlord, I say, stay the course. Don't give your power away to this loser. If you stay we'll rally around you.

I've learned some things from ohlords posts but I've always wondered how he gets away with peddling his wares on here without being a sponsor. Seems like he would get banned in about 2 minutes flat on the 211 AMG page.

I'm the same way. I've had several friend requests and never accepted any of them. No disrespect intended to the people who asked me to friend them. I simply don't feel comfortable friending anyone I don't know personally. I'd hate to have some random strangers possible future bad behavior reflect negatively on me.

My 2 cents: Rob has helped me on numerous occasions (and on 2 different forums) ever since I bought this beast in 2006 and this month that makes 6 years. I'm willing to bet he will respond to private messages from many people who have treated him with the respect and admiration he certainly deserves.

You never contribute anything positive to any of the threads but have somehow made it your business to attack one of our most helpful and knowledgeable members. And the moderators of this forum should be paying close attention to a couple of these threads.
As someone who actually does teach at the university level; if you ever replied to a fellow staff or faculty member in the same or similar fashion that you choose to on this board or on Benz World you would be escorted off of the campus grounds.
If anyone needs counseling on this forum it is definitely you!

Although not a professional educator, I have taught at all levels of HS and University. I have had years of diversity and bullying training. If this was a class room the OP would have been sent to the office for bullying.

The way you post on Benzworld would have some of us believe you are the alter ego of Plutoe. When advised that using the cupholder in the W210 was not a good adea...this guy went off on a rant against one of the most helpful and long standing members over there.
Then when it came to the use of Icon wiper blades...WOW...you have a problem...worse than Plutoe.

Your reputation and knowledge speaks for itself. Everything ive ever learned from reading your posts and answers has always been spot on. If someone is dumb enough to believe this other person that you speak off, let them continue to muddle through on there own until they see that your solutions actually work. Don't punish the rest of us because of a few other idiots. That being said, I understand why you are doing what your doing, and I hope to see you over on Benzworld.
