245/40/18 & 275/35/18 on AMG Monoblock II.
I didn't really want to lower it.... but looks like I will have to.
I'm planning on Eibach springs...
will the tires rub and wear out fast?
any recomendations?

Them's the ones, AMG Style IV, 8.5x18. Got 'em from Harris at Harton Motorwerks. Harris was invaluable in helping me decide on a set. Really knows his stuff. Great guy.

He probably cut the springs if he's running H&Rs, H&Rs never come that low, the lowest setup they have are are coilovers, not springs.

Check that thread to see what the COMAND system looks like. Don't think that's all the work involved in installing a COMAND; the reason the seats were removed was because I was having power folding mirrors installed. COMAND (of course, according to Steve) is a relatively simple installation. It gives you a navigation system, and if you upgrade your car to a new style cluster with multifunction steering wheel, makes the navigation totally integrated with your instrument display. It also has a TV feature (if you get the euro version), which Steve can modify to make it able to display picture while driving.
Who's Steve, you ask? He's the euro pimp from the Netherlands that we all rave about. He's the type of guy you'd want working on your car if he worked at a stealer. Honest, does perfect work, and great prices! Contact him at s_krabbenborg@hotmail.com for pricing and info once you've perused the boards further for COMAND information.
