Lowering one of these 210's on 20's in my opinion and this is my opinion depending on how low you go, you're going to have rubbing issues. I didn't go any lower and kept the stock suspension so to speak to keep the factory ride and to not rub. Rubbing and bouncing belongs to the Honda guys
Just looking to close the wheels gap a bit, that's why I was considering cutting instead of changing coils!!!!!!
the picture in my sig is my old e320 4matic it was on 18x8.5 245/40/18s and #1 pads all around. I cut a half coil front and rear. Half a coil does not give much of a drop, maybe 3/4 inch. On my e55 I am running the same wheels with vogtland springs and #3 pads in the front and #1 in the back (thus the reverse rake)
Thanks love your W210 build! Where did you source the Brabus kit?
Thank you. I got it used back in 2006. At the time brabus USA, now CEC had a few parts lying around...but its super hard to find now. Once in a while you will find kit parts on ebay or on the forums tho. happy hunting.
Loving all the w210 in here. Have always loved the body style since my family had a few back when they first came out.
Nice to see some hit the limit of stance, etc while others keep it clean and original
I really wanted a w210 E55 but hard to find one around here with low miles and without a ridiculous price, and I would rather not buy somebody else's headache.
That being said, I'm trying to keep miles off of my main car (09 Infiniti FX50) and need a commuter car for myself/my girlfriend, so:
I am looking at an 01 e430 4matic non-sport this weekend, 3 owners, 98k miles.
Seems to be pretty clean: silver body over black interior.
I really want an e55, but this will be a commuter shared with my gf so 4matic is needed.
Scheduled a PPI with a local MB dealer, and already did a MB service run on the VIN to check the maintenance history. Came back with no issues.
Should have it by this weekend. Happy to join the w210 crew.
Did the W124 DIY camber arms from speedway motors. I threw on a 245 rear, a small spacer, and set the arms till the tire was right up to the fender. I got an alignment after. Check out my build thread for more info on it.

What is the Website for Speedway? I googled them and it comes up with a few. Didn't see the info on your build Thread, sorry.
Had a job in Liverpool UK and went by car due to the amount of tools. When working abroad I usually go by plane. Photo taken on the parking outside the hotel
