Finally got the new wheels on today. The lug bolts I ordered worked perfectly too. They're W211 18" E350 Sport wheels 18x8 front and 18x8.5 rear. I'm running 235/40 front and 265/35 on the rear. No issues with rubbing at stock height. The car previously had 215/55-16 tires on it. Just to note, the wheels came with 245s all around. On the front they would were too close for comfort when it came to clearance. I ended up replacing all 4 tires.
Turns out the ones in that thread were no longer available. Pelican Parts called me saying they had some that matched from an Italian vendor that would work and they did.
edit: Specs for the lug bolts - RAD 12mm x 1.5, 26mm Shank, R14 Ball
Is that lug size with or without spacers? Is there a need for spacers? I just picked up a set of these wheels and wanna make sure I order the correct size lugs. At $100 I don’t wanna mess up.
THANKS!

Sorry for the late response, just saw this. That is without spacers.
Gave the wagon a bath and quick wax today. It was filthy and I had a free afternoon for once.
Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and ordered the size you said and they came yesterday. I just ordered the new tires today so I should have those wheels rolling on my car in a week or two.
Your wagon looks sweet!
Thanks! Here's another shot of it so you can get a better idea of how it sits and where the wheels are. It's lowered about 1.5" all around on H&R springs from a W210 E55 that have had some coils removed and front Bilstein B6 shocks for an E430 Sport. It's not as smooth as stock but rides nicer than my E63 with the suspension in comfort mode. I'm totally happy with the setup.

Thanks, looks awesome! I can’t wait to get them on my car.
hey that looks just like my car! well pre-facelift version. Same euro moldings, same clear xenons headlamps, same painted grill! Mine is Tectite Gray, your looks to be the same or is it Black Opal Metallic? 2 of the best colors for the W210 for sure!

Nice. haha. actually mine is "pearl black metallic". I think they stopped making this color in 1996 or 1997.
The 99 feels more raw, although it has 3x the miles of the 02. I also like the old school look of the prefacelift version including that awesome AMG steering wheel.
Love the inflatable seats on the facelift version though.
Both cars have never been winter driven or exposed to salt. My 99 is 100% rust free with 125K Miles although my 02, which only has 50K miles, is just starting to show some signs of rust where the front fender meets the bumper and the door seals. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it!!
After my beloved '92 124 diesel was prematurely terminated I've been pining for another. I finally found a pristine '98 E300 TD with only 89,000 miles and all the bells and whistles. I wasn't the high bidder but the owners loved this car so much that finding it a good home was the priority. I'm a happy boy!
