Picked up my 2000 E430 I bought online yesterday and it's much better than I expected. Now I see why you guys go on and on about these incredibly engineered machines. Such smooth power and handling. I lucked out with a one owner California car with 52k miles, verified by Carfax and condition. Must have been a customer order as it's a color I've never seen before - a dark graphite with tan MB Tex with piping. Came with chrome mono block 18's which is also unusual. In any even thinking about some mild mods - just the H & R springs and exhaust just to get a slightly beefier sound. Any suggestions would be helpful especially the exhaust. Outside of a used E55, not sure where else to turn as the ones mentioned on other parts of this site seem to be out of production. Thanks to

Picked this up 2 weeks ago. 99 E320 with 134k miles on the clock. Was a 1 family owned car. Purchased in sunny California new in 1999 it stayed there until 2017 when the son of the original owner bought it and moved to Virginia. Runs smooth and all services up to date!

I was able to take better pics. Really beginning to like this car, 13th Mercedes, some old, some new. Lucky enough to find a 52k mile California car that was a factory order by Mercedes of Walnut Creek, Ca with unusual specs as their display car thanks to docs provided by member Wassily. Will try to post photos as I add mild mods. Always looking for advice from experienced members.

Now this is my baby, 00 e320 4matic Estate. I got this a couple of months ago. Gave the 430 to my wife with the promise of fixing it up. It needs wheels and a little bodywork....Anybody got some wheels for sale?

A couple upgrades include lowering springs, and a flow master exhaust. I'm still looking for another C126 SEC... but this should hold my interest until I find one worth the time.
