Update!!!

Well have had some great developments as of late. the car is fully registered, plated and street legal in japan. Getting a vehicle registered in japan that never has been is quite an adventure. especially if it is modified, i.e. ride height, exhaust emissions, even the angle of the tips where an issue. obviously Brabus never took into account that a exhaust tip in Japan can not angle at more than 30degrees, the tips on the brabus exhaust sit at 40degrees. Just issue after issue like that.
well here are a few more photos with plates and a clean wash, as well as the lights at night.

couple highlites of the car, fresh Obsidian black paint, brabus front lip, rear valence, side skirts, exhaust, monoblock VI's 18x8.5up front, 18x9.5 rear, brabus lowering springs thats enough goodies revealed for now, more pics and info to follow.

Jose

Nice car! So how did you get the tip issue resolved?

thanks for the compliment. I ended up having a benz dealer that I have become good friends with let me use a OEM exhaust for the car to roll through inspection. the very same day after all the paperwork was accomplished and the car was done with the whole process, went straight to the shop to put the performance exhaust back on.

Woow, gorgeous. Your mods make the car look just right: not too much, but also not too subtle. Not too flashy, but also not too generic. It really is perfect.

I think the only W210 I've seen that look anywhere near this perfect was the previous W210 from a forum member name TheDoctor. That one was nice too.

Perfect !!!.

Nice car. Got a question though... How did you do the taillights, did you rig something up?

Those infamous LED tail lights

I love the lights. I bought them here in Japan. They are of great build and quality. They are definetly a Plug & Play application. There are attached resistors in a little box to regulate the voltage for the leds. The backup fogs are regular bulbs as well and the blinkers and reverse lights. The plug harness was a perfect fit as wheel as the lights lined up wiht the holes and fit perfectly with no mods. The lights also do not give me the infamous,"lamp defective" error code. So I give them a thumbs up. a pic of them when they arrived.

Here is the link to the brand I have. I bought mine through a local Benz Proshop. But I went and found the box they came in to get the brand info. They are made by a company called "Eagle Eyes". here is their link.

http://www.eagleeyes.com.tw/

At the homepage click "products"
at the next page click "performance auto lamps"
when the dragdown comes up, click "Mercedes Benz"
then select "W210"
then when the tailamps come up, mine are model# BZ076-BURE4
I have also seen the smoked version of mine and they are awesome as well.

So now you guys just need to find an authorized distributer for "eagle Eyes" in the states.

Hope this helps,
Jose

The ones I have seen on eBay seem to be the first models because they aren't ribbed like these? Also, like hubert said, the SMOKED ones look really nice, but no one in the US carries them...group buy anyone? I really would like a set, now that I have seen them! $200 seems plausible, if the quality is top-notch.

were they smooth faced? Or were they "wave" style like mine. If they are the smooth face model, I cannot vouch for those, as I have only seen those in pictures, never in person. Plus I believe those were the first model, which subsequently has been discontinued, I think thats why they have made their way to america and I have not seen any here in Japan. The "Wave" style model is being tooted here as the Hot "new" model and I can only vouch for this model, because it is the one I am running.
