Does anyone know how to remove W210 pillars? I've checked and checked this forum and others with no luck =( Reason is because I'm thinking about colormatching mine to bodycolor. I've fooled around with them (peeled back weatherstrip, unscrewed screws and fidgeted them around) but still no luck. I though they were just held on with clips, but it seems as if there may be some type of adheasive there. If anyone has experience or pointers, please, they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have it lowered with RARE Lorinser lowering springs for 4Matics and a set of 19" staggered Lowenhart LD-5's. I feel that it's an appropriate choice, considering the era of the vehicle. I had just polished and sealed the surface in these pics! Not a single swirl mark! People think it's a new paint job! HA! I wish. Enjoy!

Sonüs SFX system bro. That, along with the corresponding SFX pads, and you'll be ready to go. Of course, this system is after you've properly prepped the surface, i.e. thorough cleaning and clay bar.

Well, it's quite simple really. I don't want to sound like an advertisement, but here it goes:

Sonüs has a three step system called an SFX system. SFX-1, SFX-2, and SFX-3, with corresponding buffing pads to complement the polishes. First, you have to make sure the car is absolutely clean. Next, you go ahead with they clay bar to prep the surface. Lastly, depending on your damage, you can either start with SFX-1 or SFX-2. Patience is key; don't rush into polishing. Let the pad do the work. I did a lot of reading and learned through trial and error. I finished off with SFX-3 and sealed it off with Klasse All-In-One and Klasse Acrylic Sealant Glaze after letting cure overnight. Just google autopia and that should get you in the right direction. hi, this is my first post. I need some opinions. I have a silver 2001 e320, stock. I am trying to choose between 2 sets of rims. I am choosing between the 98-02 sport rims, like the ones on the car at the very top of page 60, and a set of cls 55 amg rims like the one on the e320 on page 62. Your opinions would help me a lot. Best of luck on your hunt. When it comes to wheels, well that is the age old question and nobody is really going to be as much a critic as yourself. I saw the wheels I have now and knew immediately, after shopping for another month or so, I knew I had to get the wheels I initially liked. A lot of people are going to say one thing or another, but again ultimately it's going to be your decision. Have you checked out the "classifieds" here? You can come across some pretty amazing deals on wheels that other members are willing to part with. I couldn't decide between LUXE Lx3s and MANDRUSemils. I know I havn't really answered your question, but well WELCOME and I hope I have at least pointed you in the right direction.

Nice work man, I just picked up a Carlsson rep front bumper this weekend, good to get another reminder that I made the right choice...and check out those mirrors, the look like //M3 mirrors, if you don't mind my asking who makes those, or are they custom? That's something I've never seen. so i finally decided on some wheels. I'm getting 18 inch brabus mono iv's, Found a great deal w/ tires, and I'm in need of some new tires anyway, so it was perfect. I have those ugly stock wheels on my silver '01 e320. Also already have a killer sound system set up too. will post pics of new wheels once they're mounted.

Thanks man.. Carlsson kit to me is one of the best kit for the pre 99 W210s. Ive had mine for 5 years and no regrets! How's the build quality of the rep? Mines original from German, and I think they don't make them anymore. I did manage to find a carlsson splitter specifically for this kit ( such luck! ) and i'm fake carboning it now before i put it on. Didn't know the pics turned up so small, will take bigger ones later.

Those are Hagus door mirrors specifically for the W210. They're the best buys, and I found it 4 years ago at this shop, but only purchased it recently..literally made out of steel. I fake carbon it too, but the only prob is getting use to the small mirrors..lol..

carlsson9 - thanks for answering my ?s man. As for the quality of the rep kit, well we'll see, I have had the side skirts on now for 6 months or so and they have held up - the kit is fiberglass, molded there at JTautostyle, but I'm pleased so far (the fronts of my side skirts - at the edge of the front wheelwell have taken some abuse as my car is lowered...coming in and out of slopes, driveways, etc. but no evidence so I'm pleased)
by the way - I love your name...carlsson9...reminds me of some guy called nelson09, actually you were here 1st so I guess nelson09 reminds me of carlsson9?!?...either way nice work I love it man.
