My 2000 E320 4matic wagon daily beater, gonna be cutting the front springs real soon because right now it looks like a low rider...
mods so far: OEM xenons (factory), OEM satnav (factory), euro moldings for side marker delete (getting painted right now), yakima lowrider w/ fairing and bike rack, 18x8 et37 carlsson 1/12 replicas with 225/40/18 tires and 15mm spacer up front and 20mm in rear, plus other little bits here and there...
sorry phore the cameraphone pics, will have nice photoshoot whe car is lowered and presentable..

Completely stock right now. I'd like to add wheels and lorinser kit / new paint. But I want to use my saved money to buy a clk55 1st. This one is an excellent daily driver.
SB253, very nice AMG!

Thanks, I cut 1.75 coil off my fronts and 1.5 off the rears. H&R sprngs didn't go lw enough for my taste I don't like wheel gap. Wheels are Mandrus emil 19x8.5 +32 offset all around. I am running 25mm H&R spacers(f) and 30mm (r) which would bring my offsets to n "active" +7 (f) and +2 (r) all wrapped in 215/35/19 Falken 452...I am about to swap the rears out for 20x10s...probablly wrap those in 235/30/20

i wanted mine lowered more also but i was scared to start cutting springs, thought it might mess somthing up. i settled for 1.25 drop eibach springs.
You haven't had any problems?
hows he ride? you get a good bounce?

Ride is cool, bsically same as stock. I've been on cut coils for like 2 years or so, no real issues besides inner tire wear but that's to be expected. About time to upgrade to Bilstein sport shocks though.
@ Black E320, don't sweat it. Depending on what whel/tire combo you're running a coil off each should be cool. That's what we cut the first time around and I was on 19x8.5 wheels and 235/35/19. It was fine. When we went in the second time to cut, still no rubbing.
