We can't let Ohord leave this Forum. Chime in please

There was a sleepy little thread called "Time to bid Adieu" a few days ago where Ohlord said goodbye to us all due to a dispute with a member. Come on guys, we can't let that happen. Chime in here if he's helped you. He's why we come here and probably the reason I still have my w210. It's the best car I've ever owned. Geez, he's forgotton more about the w210 then I'll ever know.

Leaving us? NFW

Ohlord has helped so many of us with our w210s. He always gives good advice and pulls up diagrams when they're needed. I said this in the other thread, but I know that he's helped countless other people who have googled their problems and found their answers because of him. Although I do respect his decision to leave, I don't feel like it's right that he was pushed away from this forum, where he has contributed so much, just because of another member.

I have to agree - Ohlord was the backbone of both forums for years. I'm not sure why this was handled the way it was, but the forum has been decontented like a 2012 Jetta.

Ban that member as was done in benzworld! Moderator should step in on this issue.
Ohlord knows his stuff! Time to get rid of the rotten apple!

I for one hope he sticks to his promise, however you wait he'll be back!!

PS: Yea, the lower end of the back bone maybe, no one individual is bigger that the group!!

Gruff.....perhaps so.
Obnoxious simp....probably not.

No one is pushing him out of the forum. He can put anyone on ignore and not feel like he needs to save everyone else from bad advice by another member.

I hope he takes some time off and reconciders his decision because of all the help he provides, but it is his decision and the forum moderators should only ban other members for breaking the written rules- not because of some popularity contest.

Too much drama...

And if he breaks the rules over here he should be booted, but let the process run its course.

Ohlord- please return and contribute again. Use the ignore feature and don't worry about correcting everything your nemesis posts.

i concur. many people don't realize there is an ignore, or they just can't
resist clicking open the blocked message under IGNORE and then get bent
out of shape.

i use the IGNORE feature quite a bit and with very satisfactory results

Yoh lord, Don't abandon the board because of some personality flap. I haven't been here as long as some of the others, but i've recognized your posts as being solid. There are always detractors; no acknowledgement is the best approach.

I posted on the original thread but I'll say again it's these interpersonal flame attacks that ruins the forum for all of us. IMHO that's why the moderator should
intervene.

Ohlord has already helped me twice and I'm a newbie. The other guy is more interested in pretending to be knowledgeable rather than being really beneficial to the forum.

BTW-thanks to those who mentioned the "ignore" function. I'll use it in the future but I hope it won't be necessary.

Wow do we have a problem----all those members without knowledge. I wonder what they may think!!
Obviously, you won't be able to answer the difficult questions about this car. As I've said before, all you care about is being the ONLY one to contribute and anyone else is wrong.

And according to you, the "other" members have no knowledge. Why do you think we're part of this forum? We're here to contribute and learn.

You seem to like the attention you get from pissing everyone off. TROLLLLLLLLLLL

Sounds like someone isn't getting the attention they want. It's a forum. Don't like someone, be a man and ignore then. What, is this grade school?

The man donates his time to help people with all problems. Contributes more to this forum then any other member. The fact this is even a conflict is just stupid. Ohlord IS the w210 section. You too raymond-g but if I was mbworld I would think twice about letting this happen
