can anyone post a step by step instructions on how to install the led door sills that light up?

I've never done this before but i think I can tell you how.....After you take off your door sills pull up that black rectangle box looking thing under the door sill.....You will see alot of wires....That is where you will connect them up to....You will have to get a tester to find out which wire is what...If you want them to turn on with you open the door you have to find the correct wire for it...Just check the wires that come from your door and test all of them to find out which one it is....You can get a tester at a local speed shop for like $5-$14 depnding on "name brand" (doesnt matter). You will need to wires....1 for the wire from the door and a grown wire....If you installed your side mirrors this should be simple for ya....

thanks for the input but i really need a more detailed look at it, i used to do **** to my honda back in the day and i fried lots of things in that car but i learned....i don;'t wanna do it to a benz cause if anything fries then i'm f****ed and would cost a grip to repair......would anyone know which wire it is , like the color, i know theres some guys on this post that have done it before from pics i've seen, please let me know....thanks

The link www.formymercedes.com doesn't work. What did you get the sills for from this site? I would like to do this also, but I agree with you. I would need more detailed directions on wire colors before attempting it. Did you get any installation instructions?

Consider spending money on the blu LEDs that light up the ground below where the sills are (only when the doors open - not the "Fast and Furious" type). Saw a set of Brabus ones on an SLK and they're hot!

http://www.formymercedes.com/mb.asp, this link should work, yeah these are the ones where when you open the door at the base of the door will light up in blue, i have the rear trunk lid one and its tight at night, like when you get out to valet your car somewhere i think it'll look pimp....

Does this go on the door or the body, on the underside of the car/under the skirt/rocker? What I saw was on the bottom of the rockers, below the door area.

I already have normal/halo lamps below the door (pointing towards the ground). Do you guys have those too or is it an Avdantgarde option? I wish I could change those to blu too.

its not like the fast n furious style which goes under the car with neons. not for a benz, but this goes on the body above the side skirts, i think i know what your talkng about with the others lights, i think those are on the doors at the bottom left side, you can put blue blubs in their as well, i took my bulbs out for now but now i plan on throwing some blue bulbs..the site is www.formymercedes.com

Alex, what size are the bulbs go in lights below the door? And is it difficult to change? I'mma gonna change them to blu or red if not too difficult.

i forgot the name, but their a werid size and the closest is like a dome light, and you can get them in blue or superwhite, they might have other colors as well, i'm gonna go check it out nex t week, by the way are you going to the oc meet?

Pic of which mod do you mean Brozyniak? We've talked about 3, illuminated door sill, LEDs below the side skirt and lamp below the door.

If its the sill, I'm pretty sure you've seen it but I've attached one below anyway. I'm still looking for one on the web of the LEDs (may take a pic of my firend's SLK's Brabus when I have a chance later).

Alex, the bulb is not dome shaped in my car. It's more like a pointed cylinder and are the same ones as the ones illuminating the rear number plate. I'll go see what colors they come in tomorrow and maybe try a couple (either blue, red or green - purple would be pretty if they make them). Will post pics if they will show up in a photo.

Thanks Whitey it was the door sills that I wanted to see (wife likes it too so she won't mind me doing it now! )

I think that I can get either the M Benz ones like yours or ///AMG ones But I think that I prefer the M Benz. Is the surround black? It's hard to see in the picture I think that I would like a chrome surround.
