lowering

I purchased vogtland lowering springs for my 98 e320 and was wondering what is a rough price as far as getting them installed without getting ripped off. I don't plan to have the local Benz dealer install them although they do this alot (customize) for alot of other customers. I do have the staggered e55 amg wheels on the car and for some reason the car already sits pretty low as it is - - most people already think that I have lowered it. Is $100/wheel reasonable?

I am located in the chicago - northwest indiana area ( right on the border). I thank you for your input - - as far as the springs go, there is a local Benz repair shop that normally does the servicing of my car instead of the dealer because they are normally half the price and don't try to rip me off. Would you go to a regular exhaust repair shop? Give me some advice!! Thanks alot for your help!!!

Don't pay more than $150 for a spring swap on your car. It's not that difficult with the proper tools. If you were in SoCal it would only cost you $100

MBZ Motors in Winnetka. My buddy owns the shop and they do great work there for very affordable prices. The shop is always packed, I mean it looks like IN & OUT Burgers on a Friday evenning during dinner time. There are Benzes parked down the street as far as the eye can see...

He is just so busy that I didn't want to bug him with swapping out my rear spring pads is why I asked you to help KWiK. I haven't had the time to get to that yet but will see if I still need to when I get my front bumper installed sometime this year !

Sorry, can't help with Dallas locations, but you could at least do the shocks yourself. No special tools required, it's fairly easy. As for the springs, if the install price is too much, just buy the proper compressor and do that yourself also.
