engine difference: W210 and W211
#26
Oh Lord is helpful.
.737 to get lb ft.
Handier to use .75 as approx multiplier easier to remember when trying to convert nm to lb ft when doing spark plugs and other repairs.
On your specs....depends what market the car was sold into as power figures varied by market in some cases.
Where are you located?

Thanks again on your reply.
I am located at Malaysia, but my year 2000, W210, E240 was originated from UK. Imported to Malaysia on 2003 as a used car. This is my first Mecedes Benz and I like it so much. I like the handling and the comfort of this car. Sometimes my car give me some funny error and that's why I want to learn more from this forum.
Due to this is a used car, I don't have the manual and a lot of things I need to search and learn it up, for e.g the actual engine spec of this car, all the while I thought the power and torque of the W210 2597cc is same as the W211, 2597cc. It is a bit disappointed to learn that after you have confimed the W210 2597cc only came with 170PS not 176PS. Sorry about my ignorant, why both model possessed the same enginer capcity as 2597cc but the W211 gain more PS?
Thank you in advance.

'01 W210 E320 CDI
I'll throw in some Diesel specs:
W210 320CDI (1st gen.) I6 145kW 197HP 470Nm OM613
W211 320CDI (2nd gen.) I6 150kW 204HP 500Nm OM648
Both 1st and 2nd generation CDI's inject 3 times per combustion stroke. The 2nd generation has pïezo injectors and a variable geometry turbo.
The third gen CDI was a V6 with 224HP, I believe these were available in the USA. Third, fourth and fifth-gen CDI's inject 5 times per combustion stroke!
