changing tranny fluid

i will be changing tranny fluid in my friends 99 e430, with that i will also want to change some bushings if any are recommended because of thier early usage, which ones should i change while i am under the car???

What kind of bushings are you talking about? Suspension bushings or??? If so, the control arm bushings usually wear out so if you are able to do so, change those fo sho...

You may want to change the shifter bushings, but I wasn't aware that there were any issues with that year car... but then certainly that doesn't mean there isn't.

The Only BUSHINGS That should be Inspected are the Shifter Bushings From the Shifter to the Trans a little plastic bushing
that Wears out and causes the Shifter to Rattle.
Its on the Drivers side of the trans

BTW Please make sure you drain the Converter!
And Replace the Drain Plug crush washers!
You Will Need a Dip Stick and Tamper proof replacement cap
Use Only MB Fluid!

How much work is involved in replacing the control arm bushings? How much should it cost to get the control arm bushings replaced? How much is involved in replacing the shifter bushings? How much should it cost?

Is it likely for a weekend warrior with modest tools to do the work at home?
