WaaaaW, great color with Fabulous lowering..
,prefer if you can remove the Star emblem & put a Brabus emblem in trunk(as far as you have a Brabus touch)....
ZAYED,,
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Picked up OEM E55 taillights. Was hard to find genuine MB ones like this. Big thanks to Siopaolover for the bulb plugs

These parts have been collecting dust under my bed for the past 6 months or so. Half of me was lazy and the other half was scared they might not work (leaky seal, stuck piston, etc etc.) The rotors are C55amg 345mm rotors. Brake calipers are 2002 S55 amg. Pads are OEM Mercedes from the 2002 S55. The factory line bolted right in to the back of the caliper with no leaks/issues. The caliper needed 3 washers to sit correctly on the rotor with the pads having equal spacing on both sides. Only small issues were the brake pad sensor doesn't clip in, so I just pinched the wire behind one of the tabs of the bracket holding the pads in and put the sensor in the correct place. Its holding fine. Other little well known issue is the rotor retaining screw doesn't line up right, but the lug nuts/wheel will hold it on just fine.

Final product. The car is filthy right now so ill get some shots this weekend at hot import nights.
Edit: The calipers came black originally on the 2002 S55, but I had them sanded down and painted iridium silver by my friend.

Got the radio and climate controls out...easy part haha.

At this point I have the center console out and the ashtray. Still getting the upper wood, glovebox and ac vent out.

Pic of the different wood trims.

Finally got that bugger out. Not fun...not easy. I wouldn't like to do that again lol.

Putting the new cage in was easy compared to getting the old one out. I had a hell of a time. Slowly put everything back and only got hung up a couple times where I dropped screws and broke my ashtray cover. Total time was 4 hours with those snags...30 mins of it was fixing the ashtray cover, it wouldn't close

Final product. Going to put in a double din dvd player tomorrow.
It turned out well and the dash is just as strong as it was before...I had no idea that the plastic cage is such an essential part of dash integrity. Will post more pics tomorrow after I put the dvd player in. Aloha.

Do you have a part number for this by any chance? I can't find it in EPC or WIS

Final product. I adjusted the lighting of the unit to match the amber of the rest of the dash. Looks good at night. Tested Bluetooth, ipod, USB thumb drive, DVD and CD...all work flawlessly.
