FlatlineEF9's W210 Rebuild thread
-I don't have any pics of the ksport setup, but I am going to test fit my BBK this weekend and I will take a few pics then. Basically a spring and adjustment sleeve replaces the springs. the PSS tires are the best all around tire I have ever used. wet and dry grip is amazing. Here in Hawaii we get a lot of heavy rain in the wet season and these tires have never let go on me...even with hard acceleration, cornering, and my current 4 inch drop lol. They are pricey, but less expensive then my former favorite, the pilot sport two. If you opt for PSS and eibach/koni...be prepared because your car will be transformed to a real sporty beast.
The springs and shocks are sitting at home and waiting on other hardware/tools to arrive. Been looking at more stuff such as control arm bushings and I've learned that we can adjust camber with special bushings...thought it was interesting. Kmac has some but they cost quite a bit.
I'm going to be running my stock E430 rims with winter and the monoblocks with summers...maybe PSS if the funds allow hah.
Any luck getting some photos of the coilovers?
Also what did you do with the rear bumper where the exhaust tips are? I have an E55 exhaust on and just put a spacer on the mount so it hangs under the bumper. I'd like to get an AMG rear bumper to have the tips look right or was thinking of a lip from ebay?

Where you get your brabus bits from? though to find from my experience ha

For the rear bumper, its a brabus rear lip. Most people think I only have a brabus front lip, mostly because the sides and rear look pretty factory. The brabus rear valence comes with a cutout already...but I did have to have a muffler shop adjust the tips.
My lip kit I bought used back in 08 from a guy in socal, I realize how lucky I was to get it now...its super rare. wheels are still being made by brabus, so it was just a quick call to them to pick them up with the centercaps. Brabus USA has NOTHING left for our cars...so ive been working with them finding other older model parts that might fit...example, my shift knob is actually from a w220, my steering wheel is from a w208, and my hood emblem is from a 140, doorpins from an A class.
I also have a friend in Germany who is keeping an eye out in the local market for parts for me.

Test fit the S55 brakes today. They work...gonna get the calipers sprayed and ill post up pics. The calipers are kinda beat up and don't look too good in their present condition.
Also fit 5mm spacers front and rear.
Edit: Pic for serbnerd

Rears are still stock. Will do a BBK on them soon, but first I just found out I have to replace a rear subframe bushing
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Will be posting pics later. Stud kit to be replaced tomorrow.

Ridin smooth now

Gonna do another alignment after I get the camber kit for front and rear.
Before. You can see the yellow and the slightly melted part.

To remove the clear "diffuser" or whatever its called, I simply used a blow dryer for a few minutes on the 4 tabs that were glued in. I was going to attempt the baking method (200 degrees in an oven) but the blow dryer worked out well, so I didn't have to resort to that.
Difference between the two parts. Holy moly that thing is yellow.

New part. nice and clear

I cleaned out the holes for the tabs and used a clear epoxy on the 4 mounting tabs. Clear headlight again.
Finished product.

Will have some pics on the car after I wash her. Been kinda dirty lately.
So I put Pad1 on front and Pad2 on rear and car sits nicely. The einbachs are whole bunch stiffer so bye bye comfort on slow bumper roads hah.
Keep up the pictures!

Just washed her this weekend.
Picked up the calipers last night...so after some goodridge brake lines and new pads, ill throw em on
