Looks great! What brand are the wheels? and is it lowered a tad?

 

Yes it has eibach springs. As for wheels they are monoblock replica 18x8 and 18x9 not sure of brand but the PO bought then brand new online.

This one was a sport, had less miles, all options I wanted, and in better condition.

 

Why the downgrade...? imo w210.2 looks much better than w210.1

GREAT job...always one of my favorite (dream cars). Funny thing, some E420/E430 Sport clean ones were going for as much as E55 - otherwise, I'd be tempted also.

Thanks! Ran into my first issue though. 2 days ago I noticed a very faint squeak from the motor so I popped the hood. Noticed the serpentine was starting to separate from a horizontal tear and noticed the idler puller was chipped. Took the belt off and then saw that the tensioner pulley was like it was loose and moving but on further inspection all the bearings inside were pretty much gone! Ordered new idler pulley, belt, tensioner, tensioner pulley, and bolt. Should be good to go tomorrow finally. Also noticed the engine crankcase breather hose was virtually non existent so I replaced that as well. Old one was nasty!

 

Your new one looks BEST !

 

small issues really when you think about it.. it goes with buying a 15 yr old + car. Once you get those, car purrs
