Anyone know if when these springs go in if there is a top and bottom? If so how could a guy tell which is top and which is bottom?

Typically, the top could be either the top or bottom and the bottom could be either bottom or top. However if a manufacturere specifies and orientation that orientation is usually called out in the install instructions!!

I decoded the VIN you posted, added up the points for your option codes and have determined the correct rear springs for your E320 4Matic Wagon:

The Rear Springs you need are 202 324 18 04 (Two grey paint markings). They are available on our site HERE, or by clicking on the photo below.
