Cruise control don't work w/ 19's on??!
So I just realized that my cruise control is acting like a dumb ***.
I set it, and then when the road goes uphill, instead of accelerating and/or downshifting, it just kicks out of cruise control.
Anyone have that problem?
I'm lowered on HR cupkit 19x9.5R 275/30 19x8.5F 245/35
thanks.

Though I hardly ever use cruise control, the cruise control only puts small outputs of power. If it loses to much speed when going uphill, it`ll just cancel out. Better refer to my manual.

I'm pretty sure, but not positive, it's your different tire sizes front and rear, that is affecting the cruise control. I believe that all 4 wheels need to be turning at the same rate for the cruise control to remain engaged. With your tires, the front wheels are turning 783 revolutions per mile while the rears are turning 791 revs per mile.

There are several things that can cause CC to disengage. Could it be a faulty brake light switch so something like that?

I was thinking more on the lines of a loose switch or pedal. The brake pedal in our Denali was "loose" at the rest position which caused the brake lights to flicker and cruise control to go off over bumps. The dealer adjusted the position of the switch and all is better.

Did that solve your cc? I found the plastic parts on one of my brake light had either melted or was just not molded properly in the first place - there were "bubbles" or "nipples" on the surface which affected the connection and the light out warning came on ocassionally. I filed/sanded down the bumps and the warning lights never came on again. Take a close look at the part that holds the bulb that screws on to the rest of the cluster Doc, I think its a typical problem with the E's clusters.
