Don't know much about the metallic tint you've been quoted....I had my tint done at Mike Tint Shop on Beach Boulevard in Buena Park. They did a great job.....seven windows on the E for about $150.00 I went with regular tint though...

4 wheeled car.
My Korean guy will do it for $140, front and back, he will shave the tint to the edge of the window, so they look as if they had been dipped into tint and not film tinted. He will also cut the rubber trim that causes the scratches on the windows at your request (I taught him that trick )

He's in Rowland Heights, CA.

Talking $150 OK

$150 sounds right to me, but do ask for warranty.

Anybody interested in Ceramic window tint? It's made in the Fatherland by Huper Optik and is installed by WinTech in Costa Mesa or at your location (L.A. / S.D.)

The film is amazing ... fantanstic thermal/solar rejection, so if you have a dark car with dark interior, give them a look. I liked the film so much I even installed in on my front windshield (damn near clear but still has good thermal properties). It is a joy now to get into the car (Black with Black) that is cool inside.

The only drawback - it's bank. 5 windows cost me $450 installed, lifetime (mfg) warranty ... at my house. Also, the film is thicker than most and requires several days for the moisture between the glass and film to evaporate.

Give it a look ... check the pics of my 500E
