Forgot to mention.....whilst the diameter of this wheel is very close to the OEM wheel (at least, the Advantgarde one I had), grip is greatly improved with a thicher girth and deeper finger grooves in the back.
If you like, it is also available in brown wood (can't remember what its called
) to match the interiors of most of the US pre-facelift E's (hence no buttons) and at extremely competitive prices, including the airbag from MBenzNL (Steve)......thanks man, you've just added another to your long list of satisfied customers Steve
For anyone interested, you might just make Steve's next shipment to the US if you hurry.

Yeah, funny you should remind me the airbag is "explosive" AFTER I paid for it, hee, hee! 
I was scared *****less the whole time I went thru the additional security checks at Schiphol AND back home......but all was well, especially not blowing up the plane....Thanks again for the recommendation dude - its like driving a whole new car........

Thks for the comps. I don't mind telling but sorry I don't think it's appropriate posting the price here since I got it direct from Steve....but believe me, it was a killer price compared to what I'd have to pay for locally.

Yeah Dave,somehow I knew you would point that finger at the west. But I think if you take a consensus of the world,most do it our way,tee hee.
But as far as right handed being nice on the right side,thats really a stretch cause the strong hand is better for diggin **** out of this and that,like when your fishin for something whilst you drive.
I guess its what you are used to ya know?
The interior thing ,,,but your lookin nice and cozy with that wheel.I was tossing the idea of maybe adding some more wood,,,
who knows.Did you ever figure out the www click?
But as far as right handed being nice on the right side,thats really a stretch cause the strong hand is better for diggin **** out of this and that,like when your fishin for something whilst you drive.

I know, its really what you're used to....you're right, the majority in this world prob drives on the left - even in China! But what I had to get used to was driving on the opposite side AND using a stick shift....now that's a mean feat but I'd finally managed to reach some serious speeds after a couple of days...........and survived!
WTF? How much more of that charred wood can you put in?????? Ya, some custom wooden seats would be truly unique!
Seriously tho', I think u need a bit of leather to soften the touch - my shift knob and wheel feels a bit too hard on the hands at times...know what I mean?

That wheel is tight as heck baby!!! Congrats, it makes all the difference in your driving doesn't it?! To this day I think one of the best mods I ever did was my Brabus wheel. Oh and I agree with Alex, we need more all around pics. of your ride Davey boy...

Yeah Davey,,the wheel has a certain hard,unforgiving feel when you're grabbing the wooden part,but when you wanna change,slide you hands onto the leather part for comfort,lol.Seriously though,it has an elegant feel,no regrets.

With mine it is also the profound ridge where the wood joins the leather on the top half of the wheel that felt the strangest after having a full leather wheel....but that's the part I like most on the wheel...........just something to get used to, I'm sure
