E320 2001 wagon (Key getting loose in ignition)
Hey guys,
I have an old 2001 e32p wagon. The key doesn't fit tightly in the ignotion. I have to put extra pressure on it to activate the AC and tutn signals. To turn the car on, I have to turn it at a certain angle. Once the car is on, it stays on, but the AC doesnt stay on unless a jam a narrow object in the space so they smart key leans a certain angle and that is hit or miss.
Living in nee orleans, I am bracing for a hot humid summer. Would there be any DYI tricks to do without having to replace the whole darn thing? Why is the key placement connected to the AC system and turn signals?
Thanks,
Ben
