What spring pads are people running with Eibach Pro-Kit?
TIA,
Steve
car looks good, those rims are smokin on your car! are your rims offset? Im wondering if your configuration will work on my car I have lowenhart br5 19x9.5 in the rear 19x8.5 in the front. My fenders are rolled at least the upper sections are. I’m wondering if it will rub? And are you experiencing uneven tire wear?
Nice car Whitey. What springs do you have? Mine sits nowhere near as low even in the back.

I was lucky enough to have already had mine done when i bought my car was getting serious about lowering and i assumed that my fenders were not rolled after washing car one day i was pleasantly surprised to find they were done!) . tirerack.com rents the tool $4.95 plus shipping i think like $25.00 but they are 4-6 months backlogged. i have heard of this being done with a baseball bat and a blow drier heating up then prying between the tire and fender but I wouldn’t recommend on a Mercedes I’d love to try on a Honda though. I live in San Antonio TX and could not find anyone to do the rolling. Most shops said that they cut this section off. OK like I'm going to let you touch my car with a sawsall !!!!

the pics of my fenders did not turn out (too dark) found these online

I saw a thread once with a step by step pictorial on rolling fenders but I just can't remember where......
Yes, if not done properly the paint will crack and you'll run into all sorts of problems...most obvious being rust.I forgot Shane...I don't have adjustable camber rods but no uneven wear so far, then again I hadn't had this setup for too long.
BTW, that ride of yours is lookin good but it could do with a bit of lowering. I'm not sure why you had to roll the fenders in its current state tho
yeah they were rolled prior to me, i wondered why they had been rolled. the car had original wheels when i bought it seems like a unessessary project and waste of money to me ???? well one less thing to worry about for me when i get around to dropping it. I found shop to install for $150.00 wanting to go with eibach but i've heard they tend to sag over time still debating Eibach and H&R Voightland on ebay for $200.00 sure would like to have info from someone thats got em. From what i read eibach seem to lower a car a little more than the others.
All springs should sag once their elasticity has gone
but mine haven't sagged noticeably in two years.....wish it would

Here are the measurements with the number 4 pads in the rear and number 2 in the front.
Left Front=25.25" Left Rear=26"
Right Front=25.5" Right Rear=25.75"
TIA,
Steve
Based on your pics, the distance from the top of the tire to the top of the wheel arch looks very similar front and back, which looks "comfortable".....but the car is then higher in the back because the front wheel arch is in actually higher and would be more sporty/agressive looking. I personally wouldn't change but if you want a level car, then by all means go one or two pad #'s lower - the difference between each # pad is about 3 to 5mm, I understand.
