Help with the name or part number
Hello, i own a W210 E220 1999 Avantgarde and one of the covers underneath the car broke off. It is the cover thats underneath the engine . Im pretty sure it is the cover you need to remove to change the oil filter but i am having problems figuring out the name or part number for this part and would very much appreciate some help on this! im not sure if this is a 2 part cover or just one, if someone could shed a light on this for me aswell that would be awesome!

The baffle sound absorbing on the underside of these antinoise capsules eventually disintegrate over time with the wear and tear of the heat, oil, weathering, etc that it's exposed to. Used versions for sale in UK and Europe show how this "noise absorbing" surface are reduced to nothing. The capsule shells seem to hold up well, however the antinoise surface are pretty much gone after 10+ years of exposure.

Beware of scammers that will ask for your VIN when no VIN is needed.
The "belly pan" goes via several names as you can already see, but they are not mandatory.
Considering high price for older cars - lot of members drive without it.
Check local junk yard if you can get one for 10 bucks.
