btw I think my wife is getting jealous over my car getting all my attention. For some reason she says I seem to spend my time with a terry cloth on my wheels and complains about the e55 brochure all over the house..

The rims are 18" ADR M-Sport Hyperchrome with Dunlop tires. As for lowering the car, I plan to do it asap. However, I am still unsure of what the setup will be. Eibach, HR cup kit....I 've read previous threads on the subject, but I would like to visit a professional shop that knows MBs. Does anyone have a recommendation on a shop in the San Jose, CA area? Ultimately, I want a lower stance, not slammed, and ability to control the dampening. I've read that Tein and Appex are a good way to go for adjustable coilovers. Any thoughts???

hey Im newbie in here to but I wanted to pass along some great mb parts places here in the north bay area. A and F import parts specializes in original parts and I believe they ship anywhere..... A & F Imported Parts Inc.

I think they are like about 10%-20% off than the dealership and they also have a shop that works on mb only..thier parts warehouse takes up half the block!!
another find is.... All Mercedes Auto Repair
1225 7th Street, Oakland, CA 94607 factory trained bitter ex mb dealership techs also a serious price difference than the stealerships in hourly rates.
just passing along the info for any norcal mb owners.
p.s. I also got a excellent tint place $175-$250 all fours

The ride firmed up considerably from stock but is not harsh. Much less body lean/roll in corners, just the way I like it. I'll give you a holla when I'm around the area, just PM me your phone #.
