Hi sorry i did this in 2 parts .My e430 has high idle at start up but poor response from pedal.If i hit the gas pedal in idle it runs away.Also when this happens i get bas and esp lights also check engine light is on Just got it running 2 weeks ago had bad shifter thanks for that info any ideas?? Thanks kevin

If you have a CEL get it scanned. There will be codes that will tell you what's going on. Have it scanned by someone that has Star/DAS/Xentry and not some cheap OBD scanner.

Hi scaned with snap on solis ob2 and 32 pin link under hood p2032 2038 202e 2004 203c Thanks for your time i have 2001 e430 when i start up has high idle surges at times but mo responce from gas pedal Need help thanks
