Torque specs 2001 E320 AWD wagon (Canadian model)
I tried to read the torque specs of the attachments on a previous thumb but these diagrams just won't open for me at anything but wee small.
https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...20-4matic.html
Does anyone else have a copy of these?
I'm replacing out the two front axles myself this weekend (torn/shot CV boots)
I need the torque specs in ft.lbs for the front wheels:
27mm axle nut holding wheel
13mm two bolts on the retaining bracket of the torsion bar from the lower wishbone.
Tie rod to steering knuckle self locking nut (22mm)
22mm nut on the lower ball joint
22mm nuts holding shock absorber to the lower wishbone
I'm assuming I need to abide by torque specs for all of those above. Anyone have them?
Thanks!
SOLVED
Tie rod nut 60 NM
Ball joint to steering knuckle 140 NM
Ball joint to wishbone 100 NM
Sway bar screws 80 NM
Axle bolt 270 NM
