Lightbulb W210 E320 Manual Swap

Hey everyone! I have a 2001 E320 v6 that i was looking into doing a manual swap. I've heard that its capable using the r170 slk250 6 speed, but still curious on if anyone else has done it or has the know how on the subject. is there any way to have it all bolt together no fab? (besides the driveshaft). Let me know what you got, thanks!

Everything can be done when money and time are no object.
I think you are overlooking computers swap as well.
When mechanical part might be easy, even if you have to fabricate adapter plate - not too may people around the World figure out how to reprogram MB computers.
Ask Plutoe - he is trying to play computer guru here, so that might be run for his money.

Unfortunately I've heard about that. I saw one guy do a manual swap with a clk430 with a crossfire 6 speed. The crossfire V6 is the same m112 as the one in my car. I didn't think it would be too hard besides new driveshaft, clutch ect. This guy made his computer think his ecu was always in park so it would start and drive.

No. Just the fact that you asked that means that you'd be in way over your head for a swap like this.

A guy by me was building a W124 with an M113 engine and a manual trans out of a Crossfire. I have no idea if he ever completed the project. I drive past his house all the time and have never seen the car outside if he did. It's been 6+ years too since I talked to him about it.

Is that all computer knowledge you have?
Forget about my recommendations in the future

I'm just trying to get information, this guy has done it rather well and from my understandings the m113 is just a V8 version of the m112. He's running an aem ECU, I'm just curious how he wired it up

Obviously there's more to it, but feasibly the same engine in the crossfire is mated to the nsg370. Besides doing pedal mounting and other odd things I would think it would bolt up rather smoothly, unlike if you were to throw a completely foreign transmission into it. I'm more in question on how it would wire up. Obviously Mercedes built the car to be automatic for a reason but I still believe it would be amazing to have that feel of a 6 speed

There are some manual w203s that you can use to swap the transmission.
