01 e320 wagon rear accumulators / hydraulic spheres
Any tips on how to go at this? My plan is to remove them, drain as much hydro fluid as possible passively/by gravity. Then start the car, pump builds pressure, then open bleeder to relief pressure. keep eyes on reservoir.
symptoms I am experiencing are that rear suspension is bouncy, but not slammed nor sagging.

Both accumulators were shot. they had so much hydraulic fluid in them. they were not doing anything except holding in fluid.

Hi, It may be easier to drain the hydraulic reservoir, up front, using a hand pump. Remove accumulators, clean and reinstall, look at load leveling device, clean and loosen bleeder and re tighten, then refill reservoir half way and start engine, after full, start bleed of load leveling device.
