Question illuminated door sills

Does anybody who has the illuminated door sills have them on the back sills? My dealer said they don't make them for the back , only for the front... ??

No, I got it off Ebay. It was quite cheap, compared to dealer's price.

It's also really easy to install. As for wiring all you need is a constant 12v, and wire the ground to the door switch.

sills

I ordered aftermarket sills on Ebay for $200. That included 4 illuminated sills (2 front/ 2 back). Easy to install even if you have limited "know how" skills. The hardest part is just taking off the panels to hide/access wires. I can give you quite a few tips though for the W210 body. As for power, I tapped into the rear dome light for all 4 sills. It was the easiest route compared to tapping into the battery or front dome light.

it will fit

paomien,
It will fit. It's just the front door sills have a longer metal frame around the words Mercedes Benz. The rear sills are shorter but the lettering is the same size as the front.

time to install

Considering I had to figure out how to pull off the panels, it took me longer. It took about 5 hours to do all 4 sills.
