Just purchased my first MB
Well I just picked up my first MB, before this I owned mostly BMW 5 series sedans and I loved them. Its just something about owning an MB that you have to try I guess, that and the W210 is probably one of the nicest looking Benz's ever made in my opinion.
I actually bought the car from MB motor credit at Manheim auto auction its a 2000 E430 sport with 52k on it. It has a check engine light on but runs fine and has no paint work. It has the AMG spoiler package from the factory with the 17 inch sport wheels. Its silver with the dark graphite interior. I had my local MB dealer pull up the service records and it has no major problems last service was 48k with a new O2 sensor installed. I'm going to pick it up and bring it home tomorrow.
I'm sure there will be lots of silly questions to follow as I am new to the MB family.

I too had several BMWs and have switched myself.
Can't imagine going back until they make some major changes.

you will find alot of good information and facts from the forum members here. i have read bmw and audi as well as lexus forum in the past. still think this forum offer more help than the rest..

You have to have a dealers license and be a member of the Manheim dealers network which they charge you a yearly rate. I wont say what I paid but its around 7k under retail price. I'm very excited I'm going to pick the car up tomorrow and then I'll have to see whats activating the engine light. I think its the MAFS which seems like an easy fix.
