Best Place for Xenons on a 2000 W210
I'm sad to say that I had a pair for my car (well almost had, I purcahsed a set through eBay), but the headlights where stolen from the sellers garage before he had a chance to ship them. My question is, where can I find the best value (quality/price) xenons for a 2000 E430? Should I look at replacing the head units (I know I'll need to remove the front bumper, not looking forward to that) or should I keep the current head units and go with better bulbs? What is everyone's experiences and/or suggestions?
Thanks in advance all

Hi Guys,
The Xenons you are speaking about for $750, it that to replace the factory regular headlights? I have a 2002 that I regret not getting the Xenon... I should have waited a couple weeks for the car to come in...
I thought if the car didn't come with Xenon from the factory I couldn't change them over later????

Sorry to hear that the headlights you received were stolen good. I'm not surprise with Xeon headlight turning up on ebay that could be stolen. It's very common place especially in the Northeastern States. The 02-03' Nissan Maxima has Xeon headlight and they are the most frequently stolen headlights. In addition to that, the replacement is a whopping 2500 bucks. Luckily the Benz don't cost much as what the Maxima goes for.

Gear - these would be a complete replacement of your halogen headlights, of course with the '00, '01 and '02 W210 you basically have to remove the front bumper to be able to get at the lights themselves.
Vince - the headlights were stolen out of the garage from the guy I was buying them from, so I never lost any money, but I'm sure the guy I was going to buy them from did. The price for a factory set is roughly $1,600 plus installation so it could be very close to that $2,500 price for the Maxima if you had your local MB dealer install them.

So for $750 you get the Xenon system for the car. Taking the front bumper off is not a huge deal. I am more concerned with the wiring and the ballasts. Am I missing something here? I expected this to be a lot more than $750. Thanks again...

If disassembly and reassembly of the bumper are all that is necessary- besides plugging in a few wires- then I am in for $750. I am in the middle of another project right now and this should be simple! Where can I get them?
