W210 SLS stuck in HIGH position
I'm new to the forum and im stuck on an issue i cant figure out.
Really hoping someone will have an idea on this.
It's about a w210 E320 M104 Limousine (6 door, converted by the company Binz in Germany) the car is originally from 1997.
The car is fitted with SLS suspension, since i've bought it a few months back the rear end has been sitting very high.
The car drives just fine.
I tried adjusting the leveling valve, when i move it up the rear end goes up even further.
Whichever way i move it though, it will not drop below the current ride height.
I disconnected the valve from the rod link connected to the sway bar to perform this test.
The fluid level is ok. fluid does seem dirty.
On this car the SLS system is merged with the power steering system, which works just fine.
So the pump is good.
The valve seems to be working.
I dont see any leaks.
Maybe someone has an idea on what the problem could be or what i might be overseeing.
I very much appreciate any help
