Windshield source for E430 in USA?

The windshield in our 1999 E430 cracked this winter. I chased down the last windshield in M-B's worldwide stock in February but when the installer pulled off the protective wrap they found a crack. The dealer reached out to PGW and Migrant but they don't have one. Any suggestions? Surely there must be some vendor that can source windshields for a W210.

Are you looking for the factory version with the MB stamping or will any replacement do?

There are no factory replacements worldwide (see my original post - I had purchased the last one - which turned out to have a crack hidden by the factory packing materials). So it has to be aftermarket. The local M-B dealer (in Richmond, VA) referred me to a local glass shop that has sourced one from Mygrant (misspelled my original post). They also found some stock through Pilkington, but was 2 weeks out. They also found that these windshields are "limited availability". Weird that the M-B dealer in Virginia Beach - where the car resides - came up empty handed through PGW and Mygrant.

So a glass dealer in Richmond can source one in 2 weeks via Pilkington, is the current windshield smashed? Is this your daily driver? Have your tired Safelite?

Please read my last post. The glass shop sourced one from Mygrant. They also found stock at Pilkington, but 2 weeks out. Windshield is cracked, not smashed. I chose to go with the shorter availability. My daughter will be up for Mother's Day over the weekend (with the car) and the shop can install the windshield Monday. I have had nothing but grief with Safelite. I prefer local shops - I've had better luck. And overall, sourcing parts for this car has become a huge headache.

Go for what you can get. Two weeks? I waited 2 months for a local glass shop to get OE glass through a MB dealer for my G550 (the delay was MB's).
