Hi,
Does anyone use Rotex brake pads?
Are you good?
I am thinking about change the brake pads, concern Porterfield and Rotex.
Any opinion are welcome!

I had them on my ml. Very little dusting. Bed them properly like any other pad and they'll be fine. When the time comes, I'd use them for my e when and if they are available.

My friend has them on his Jaguar S type and he loves them no dust, I'm on my second set of Portfields and dont like them after they get hot they skweak like a bus.

Ive been using porterfields for about 12K miles now,just checked them for wear because I changed my AT Rivas with the summer tires for the OEM SE wheels and the snow shoes.I cant see any noticeable wear at all.Probably go at least another year.But they do chirp a little when coming to a stop when hot,and there is hardly any dusting.Good stopping power too.

definitely would go Porterfield again
Thats been rolling around in my head for a while now Dave.But for the short term,Im gonna paint my calipers in the spring when the Rivas go back on.

sounds familiar....Anyway, changing the rotors shouldn't be an issue if you're due to replace them anyway, the hoses would just be the additional cost.......

Yeah Dave,,Im thinking of going slotted rotors when its pad changin time,and the painted calipers will be on in the spring when the Rivas return for better weather.

Anyway, changing the rotors shouldn't be an issue if you're due to replace them anyway, the hoses would just be the additional cost.......
