raining like a monsoon, need new wiper
It's been raining in biblical proportions here in Los Angeles and the front wiper on my wife's E320 works only slightly better than dragging a wet rope across the windshield. 
I spent nearly 45 minutes in the local Jerk-Boys (aka PepBoys) trying to match up a replacement wiper or even just the insert, all to no avail. It would have been a 3 minute job if the people working there were actually smart enough to hang the reference book in front of the wiper display and track the inventory somewhat, but NOOOOO!
Anyway, I am not too shocked to find that the wiper is somewhat unique, but with the sheer number of MBZ cars on the road, I find it hard to believe that nobody carries a replacement wiper blade or insert!
Where can I get one besides the dealer? Any source or part/model # would be appreciated.

By the way Doctor, how is your wing from Alex? I will have him put my on as soon as it stops raining. I guess the wing needs to dry for a few days.

Mario, the wing is fine. He and his brother ( I think it's his bro) put it on in like 15 minutes. You gotta let it dry so yeah, if it rains, forget about it. Anyway, they rock and did an excellent job!

after going from kragen, pep boys and autozone...no luck...finally went to get the wiper from the dealer..i think it was 13-15 bucks and works like a charm...
took me a while to put it on. all you need is the wiper insert..

no loss of features. You just gotta get what you want like heated mirrors, convex, dimming etc. My friend hooked them up for me.

You're not the only one that has a monsoon. It's pretty bad out here in Albuquerque, it's raining non stop, usually we get snow at this time of the year but it's just rain and rain.

I spent nearly 45 minutes digging through the disorganized pile of wipers here at DorkBoys. I can't believe the level of dissatisfaction that place causes me. I get irritated just driving past!
I'm sending my wife to the dealer; maybe she'll smile at them and get it for free!
Hey Doc, forgive my ignorance, but who/what is the guy in your picture? Another guy on the Porsche forum uses the same exact photo so I figured there couldn't be two guys that looked and dressed exactly the same.
