My Car Phone
Mine is wired for a cell phone. However the unit is not in the arm rest. Can I add my Sprint PCS to installed in the arm rest? It is alreayd wired, except it does not have the Cell phone base and the cell phone it self!!

Do a search on ebay, they are listed all the time. The big trick is not getting the phone itself, it's getting it to work with both your car (additional parts & installation required) AND your cellular service provider.
Unless you spend the BIG $ on a new (or semi-new) phone, many cell companies are reluctant to activate an old phone because they are obsolete.
This is what I have been able to discern from all of the posts here (I did several searches) and elsewhere that I have read.
I'm sure someone will have additional or different information.
Now I need a phone that will not only work with my wife's E320, I need it to work in my new Tahoe with OnStar. I'll bet I am out of luck though.

Well I have a 2000 model with the digital startac phone, but I can no longer get service for it. No one will activate that phone any longer, even though technically it works fine. They changed the frequency of the phones for 2001-2002 models, and even though you can get newer models (V60 etc..which I had as well), you cannot get Sprint PCS service on any of them as far as I know. I had a V60 as well, which was CDMA, and I could have gotten verizon, but the phone would not work in the car unless I changed the antenna due to the frequency change.
So I now just use my regular Sprint PCS phone, and gave up the in car options, though the voice recognition etc. is very nice, I figured it simply was not worth the money to get something working that would again be obsolete in another 2 years.

I guess I may have to sell my MB and buy a BMW which recently signed a contract with Sprint to provide PCS services to all 2006 forward BMW models.
