01 E320,10Kmiles, what type of service is needed?
I just recently took over my mother's car (she is getting older and does not feel well enough to drive). She bought it new in 2000, with additional 4 year extended warranty. This car has not been in a dealer for any service, except some mechanical problem with the windshield wiper. I remembered calling the dealer for what type of service was needed, during the four year that she drove, but I was informed that it does not need any service, since there is no display shown.
The car looks and even smells brand new!!!! Beside calling the dealer and ask them what type of service is needed, I thought I try this post first. Are these services covered under the extended warranties?
This is my first post on this forum, my other posts are on the C class forum...

FSS should warn you either when the 10k miles are up (starts to warn at 1k left) or when 1 year, 365 days, is almost up...so it's either 10k or 1 year. Has the oil NEVER been changed since being bought in 2000???
The service itself is not covered under the extended warranty and wasn't under the regular 4 yr / 50k as well. MB started including service from 2001 - 2004 and has stopped for 2005+.

Went through the record and found out that service A was performed in 2002 at 4600 miles. Now in 05, it has 10kmiles.....Don't need another service A until 8kmiles more. Do I need to concern about other fluid, since the car has not been driven very much. Car was purchased in Oct 2000, so it is out of warranty.... 
I did call the dealer and explain the situation, of course they want me to take it in for an inspection. Should I forget about and wait for another 8kmiles, which would be in the summer.

Coolant and brake fluid should be changed every 2-3 yrs so that's due. You are also due for a service B, which is basically oil change, tire rotation, air filter change, inspections for brake, suspension, oil leak, belts, hoses etc.
